Bird of the Day: The Funny Old Buzzard

The Honorable Zell Miller - A Hero to All! Posted by Hello

I think it's funny when people act really mad. If you think it's funny too, then I hope you got to see Democratic Senator Zell Miller's speech at the Republican National Convention. I recorded it!

When he dies from getting angry I'm going to ask if I can have his dogs.

The funniest part was when he said "...spitballs?". I was pretty sure that lasers were going to come out of his eyes. And did anyone notice that he couldn't move his head separately from his body? He kept awkwardly turning from side to side while he was yelling.

Conventions would be interesting to watch except for the dorky people in the crowd who have to stop everything down so they can chant about flip flops.

I feel sorry for the Zell family dogs.

The RNC has been enjoyable to me. I'm glad the Bush twins had a coming out. Jenna is much nicer and less snooty than Barbara! Probably because she went to school in Austin--one of the greatest cities in America.
Laura Bush is one of my favorite first ladies. She speaks well and is very graceful. She fits the position very well. For some reason, I can't imagine the first lady being Teresa Heinz Kerry. I'm scared of her. She seems mean. I wasn't too impressed with Dick C. as he is very boring and monitone. That's my wrap on on the RNC thus far.

It is shocking to me that the Republican Party would be the one accused of fear mongering. And it is interesting that, in your opinion, a Democrat is the Republican's all-star fear mongerer.

There are a load of Democrats who have sustained long careers by scaring the daylights out of olds and minorities.

Zell Miller is a loose cannon, and if I was the guy in charge, I'm not sure I'd put him up there during prime time. I've heard people say that he must have an axe to grind, but I haven't heard anyone identify what axe that is. I've had people tell me that they don't like Dick Cheney because of Halliburton, but I ask them what they know about Halliburton and I don't get any answers. I hear people say nasty things about the President, and when I ask for specifics I either get "he's stupid" or "I don't like the way he looks" or something else equally without substance.

Blogalicious, you have evidently done your homework and know that Zell Miller's speech was more fiction than truth. Here is a link to the transcripts of his speech.

Give me as many examples of you can where Zell Miller wasn't truthful.
Then go through Michael Moore's movie and give me as many examples as you can of where he was truthful.
